In the predecessor version to the chip described, HELIX128
[8], the digital control circuitry necessary to operate
according to the experimental requirements has been splitted between
the HELIX128 itself and the support and control chip SUFIX
[9]. In the present version, this separation was abandonned
and all functions could be merged into Helix128-2.
