This course will begin with an introduction to the appropriate formal language and structure of an English language presentation. All students will produce and deliver a 10-minute presentation related to the general fields of Physics and Astronomy by the end of the course. Regular, detailed feedback will be given on pronunciation, grammar, and register. The main focus of the course will be to provide valuable experience in speaking English in front of a group, and to encourage students' confidence in their spoken English.
