Heidelberg Student Days 2012 of the Department of Physics and Astronomy

The Student Days 2012 will take place in April, 10.04. until 13.04.

Welcome

Welcome to the Heidelberg Student Days 2012. The Student Days are organised by the Department of Physics and Astronomy. All students of the faculty are invited to participate. The programme extends over four days and consists of two parts:

• There are talks by faculty members and students in the morning where the different disciplines of the faculty are presented. You will have the chance to inform yourself about the large variety of research topics in Heidelberg. Especially the talks by students might give you insights in the daily work.

• In the afternoon courses take place which should be interesting for all physics students which are however not part of the standard curriculum.

Also, during the coffee breaks we will have poster presentations which you can use to get into contact with potential groups for your future Bachelor-, Master- or Diploma thesis.

For participation in the Student Days you can earn 1 ECTS point.

Student Party

On Wednesday 11.04. 17:30 there will be a party for all participating students, taking place in the KIP Foyer.

Free beer and pretzel will be provided.
