1. Der historische Weg, der zu unserer heutigen Vorstellung vom Planetensystem führte.

2. Von der Entdeckung der Radioaktivität bis zum Verständnis der Atomkerne.

Introduction to the typesetting system LaTeX

The publication of scientific documents puts special demand on typesetting tools. Especially the heavy use of mathematic formulae in physics as well as large lists of citations make LaTeX an interesting and important tool for physicists in writing theses - ranging from bachelor's to professorial theses - as well as publications.

Electronics Labcourse

Der Kurs richtet sich in erster Linie an Studierende ohne Vorkenntnisse im Aufbau von elektronischen Schaltungen. Ziel dieses Kurses ist nicht die Einführung in die Theorie der Elektronik. Der Schwerpunkt liegt im praktischen Design und Aufbau von elektronischen Schaltungen anhand vorgegebener Schaltpläne.

English Presentation Skills

This course will begin with an introduction to the appropriate formal language and structure of an English language presentation. All students will produce and deliver a 10-minute presentation related to the general fields of Physics and Astronomy by the end of the course

Teleskopführerschein

This course is 'the other' introduction to astronomy: It will enable participants to identify stars, constellations, and planets in the night sky and show them how to use a telescope to find and observe different celestial objects.

Understanding Climate

Climate change is a hotly debated issue, but what is the scientific basis behind it? What precisely do climate models predict and how trustworthy are they?

C++ Basics

Der Blockkurs 'C++ Basics' ist für AnfängerInnen ohne oder mit nur geringen Vorkenntnissen und für UmsteigerInnen gedacht. Er vermittelt grundlegende Konzepte der Objektorientierten Programmierung und die Implementierung in der Sprache C++.
