Heidelberg Student Days 2013 of the Department of Physics and Astronomy

The Student Days 2013 take place from 08.04. until 12.04.

On Tuesday 09.04. there will be free beer and pretzels in the evening, starting 17:00.

Welcome

Welcome to the Heidelberg Student Days 2013. The Student Days are organised by the Department of Physics and Astronomy to inform students about the research topics covered by the different institutes in Heidelberg. All students of the faculty are invited to participate. The programme extends over five days and consists of two parts:

  • There are talks by faculty members and students in the morning where the different disciplines of the faculty are presented. You will have the chance to inform yourself about the large variety of research topics in Heidelberg. Especially the talks by students might provide you with insights into the daily work.
  • In the afternoon courses take place which should be interesting for all physics students which are however not part of the standard curriculum.
  • On Wednesday afternoon lab tours will be offered, instead of the courses.

Also, during the coffee breaks we will have poster presentations which you can use to get into contact with potential groups for your future Bachelor-, Master- or Diploma thesis.

For participation in the Student Days you can earn 1 ECTS point.

If you have any questions remaining, write a mail to: studierendentage@kip.uni-heidelberg.de
