The BrainScaleS project is pleased to announce its participation in THOR: The Neuromorphic Commons, a new, large-scale community research infrastructure supported by the National Science Foundation (NSF), USA.
THOR aims to provide open access to a range of heterogeneous neuromorphic computing hardware. By joining the project, Electronic Visions will contribute its unique accelerated physical-model neuromorphic platform BrainScaleS, significantly expanding the resources available for interdisciplinary research into biological intelligence and bio-inspired AI.
This collaboration enhances our commitment to democratizing access to cutting-edge neuromorphic computing for the global scientific community. The BrainScaleS system will be made available through the THOR platform, complementing the resources currently offered via the EBRAINS research infrastructure.
