The first HBP Young Researchers Event took place on April, 12th in Budapest. The programme focused on Simulations on different scales of space and time. In the plenary session Simulation on different (time) scales Vitali Karasenko introduced the Heidelberg Neuromorphic Systems. The afternoon sessions Simulation in use demonstrated different simulation tools. A hands-on interactive demonstration of the Spikey System was given by Vitali and Eric.
