Hauke group - Quantum-optics Theory
Welcome . . .
to our group homepage. Here you can find some information our research interests, current and previous teaching activities, topics for potential Bachelor, Master, and PhD theses, and more.
Our main research aim is a deeper understanding of complex quantum many-body systems. To this end, we perform theoretical studies based on analytical and numerical methods, as well as develop proposals for realizing and characterizing phase diagrams and non-equilibrium dynamics of complex quantum systems. These proposals draw on the astonishing abilities of quantum-optical many-body experiments, such as with ultracold quantum gases and trapped ions, which are now reaching a level of precision and control that has been unimaginable just a few decades ago.
Master Seminar Quantem Entanglement
This summer semester, Markus Oberthaler and I together give the Master Seminar Quantum Entanglement -- Theory and Experiments. Inscription is unfortunately no longer possible.
