Molecular Labeling Techniques

During the last years, fluorescence-in-situ-hybridization methods (FISH) have been developed, which do not require denaturating chemical agents (international patent application). Thus, it is possible to approach physiological conditions. Preliminary results verify, that these hybridization techniques allow coupling / recombination in a physiological temperature range. For this, a method has been developed to produce a mixture of DNA-probes specific for the in-vivo labeling of arbitrary, smallest chromatin segments. The advantage of this method is its applicability to multidimensional DNA chip arrays (Patent application). more...
