Biophysic

Our group focuses on the biophysics/analysis of the nuclear nanostructure, mainly of mamalian cell nuclei. For this, a combination of biocomputing simulations (top) and experimental approaches (bottom) is used. Results from large scale (top-left) and small scale (top-right) brownian dynamics of chromatin can help to interprete experimental outcomes from structural analyses using new molecular fluorescence labeling techniques in a variety of novel microscopic approaches, such as e.g. SMI microscopy (bottom-right) and topological approaches, e.g. SPDM (bottom-left).
